Located in a tourist area (Esposende), the Hotel Mira Rio sits on the N13 national road, Porto – Viana do Castelo, on the banks of the river Cávado. From the balconies of its comfortable rooms you can enjoy a wonderful, unique landscape, enhanced by the majestic Ofir pine forest and the wide estuary of the river Cávado. The Hotel Mira Rio lies in one of the most beautiful landscapes in northern Portugal. The Esposende coast is part of the North Coast Natural Park, a protected area of great beauty where you can enjoy nature trails or the beautiful beaches: Ofir, Apulia or Esposende. A few hundred metres away, the river Cávado, its estuary and its mouth are a sanctuary for migratory birds. The centre of Esposende is about 500 metres away, with Fão 1 km away and the beaches of Ofir and Apulia also very close. The Castro de São Lourenço is a national monument and one of the best examples of Celtic culture in Portugal. Esposende benefits from its proximity to cities such as Viana do Castelo (22 km), Barcelos (13 km), Póvoa de Varzim (18 km) and Braga (38 km).

The Hotel Mira Rio has ten rooms and three suites, all equipped with a full bathroom with bathtub, hairdryer, air conditioning, flat-screen television, telephone and free wireless internet access. The suites, made up of a bedroom and a living room, are equipped with sofas and a minibar. It also has private parking, a lounge with bar, in-room bar service, bicycle and laundry rental and service. Transfer service to and from Porto airport, the Póvoa de Varzim metro station or the nearest railway (service subject to an extra charge). On the ground floor of the building is one of the oldest restaurants in the town of Esposende, with capacity for 100 people.
