Camino Portugues (Lisboa - Santiago de Compostela) in 10 days
In September we did the Portuguese Way of St. James. And for the second time, we rented our bikes from Bicigrinos (we did the French Way in 2017). As always, we received excellent service and Tomas was always ready to help and answer our questions. Trans-Pyrenean MTB with panniers
Thank you very much for the bike, the 900K journey with 20000+ from the Mediterranean to the Cantabrian Sea through the Pyrenees was great. I had absolutely no issues, not even a flat tire; I left the bike with all the equipment they gave me at the motorbike shop in Bilbao. I had no issues with the delivery; it was easy to book, it was easy to receive the bike; in fact, they left it well set up at the hostel where I was staying, and they made it super easy for me to return it in Bilbao. Excellent provider - Totally recommended
Second time I've hired Bicigrino to do the Camino de Santiago by bike. Just like in 2019 the experience was excellent, both with the bike they assigned me, a traditional one, as well as the pannier and spare parts equipment; in the 370 kms of the route I completed I only had to maintain the tire pressure. Due to the needs of the group I went with, we had to appeal to Bicigrino's remote support (Tomás) and the response was immediate, providing us with a satisfactory solution to the situation presented and we were able to continue with the Camino as planned. Total trust and professionalism
Again this year we managed to carry out what we had left pending in 2019. After the pandemic we lost a bit of steam and couldn't manage to set a date. Finally this year arrived and we got down to work to achieve it. Of course we trusted the professionalism of Tienda Bicigrino and its owner Tomás again! This year we got some newer and much more rugged machines! They came equipped with their corresponding panniers and inside them a first aid kit with the basics for a flat tire, a quick link for any chain breakage and the constant attention, although from a distance, of Tomás, who was on the ball every time we called him for any query. Continuing to praise Bicigrino's service may sound like a lot, but I tell you, no comment is too much! Thank you very much once again Tomás, for your professionalism and your omnipresence! French Way in 18 days by Bicycle.
Bicigrino was the best option I found when planning the Camino Francés that I did by assisted bicycle with my brother. But the plan was made with the help of ChatGPT and, of course, I was worried if it would really be a good option. We just arrived in Santiago after 18 days, 868KM and 13,775KM of ascent, and I can confirm that your bikes (we took the assisted ones with double suspension) are robust and super suitable for the Camino. We follow the demanding route suggested on their website, which follows 95% of the "official" pedestrian path, only deviating in areas with very high pedestrian traffic or high technical difficulty for bikes. EXCELLENT RESPONSE
I have been renting e-bikes from Bicigrino for several years to do the Camino on different routes, always satisfactorily. This year I suffered a breakdown in the one they provided, which made it impossible to continue... It was a Sunday, very late in the afternoon. Getting to the hotel was complicated, already at night... however, Bicigrino responded, despite it being a holiday and at a complicated time. The next day, at eight-thirty in the morning, I had a magnificent replacement e-bike at the hotel so that I could continue my route. In addition to apologizing, they made sure that my experience with them did not leave a bad taste in my mouth: they succeeded. The solution was as fast and efficient as could be expected. Great professionals. After completing ten Caminos, with all kinds of incidents, my recommendation is clear: there are other companies with somewhat lower prices, but it is not worth it... Best holiday ever.
Tomas was extremely helpful I had to change my dates three times. Once I go sick, then a year later my brother got very sick, the next year I had to change again as my flight through Doha was cancelled and had to fly through Beijing. I paid in 2024 and was never charged extra due to rental increases. Bikes never stopped and are well looked after. Go for the full suspension ebikes it’s like riding in a comfy seat. You still have to work up the hills it’s not a free ride. Every time I had to delay Tomas was always very understanding and I would recommend him as number one choice for bike hire. A pleasure.
Impeccable service, the procedure for picking up and returning the bikes was very clear. I had the bad luck of breaking an important part of my bike while traveling the northern route, and they coordinated a repair service for me in a city I passed through, all top-notch. Couldn't be happier with the shipping service for my bike. My bike was being shipped internally in Spain, from one region in Northern Spain to another in Southern Spain and it was handled so good, so professional. Thank you, gracias, very grateful. Would highly recommend.
