Albergue Bideluze is a fully renovated old house in Castildelgado. Isabel’s dream has always been to have a house full of guests, and who better than her companions, pilgrims of the Camino de Santiago? Albergue Bideluze also opens its doors to all lovers of nature and rural tourism.

With several “Caminos” behind her and after her experience as a host in other hostels, she decided to turn her house into a place of rest for the pilgrim. Nearby

Castildelgado is a municipality in the lands of Burgos, very close to La Rioja. It offers very diverse scenery, so much so that this area is known as the “Riojilla burgalesa”. If you stay in Castildelgado, be sure to visit the late-Gothic Church of San Pedro and the Hermitage of Santa María del Campo. You can also admire the arch, right on Calle Mayor, a vestige of the Palace of the Counts of Berberana.

From the village you can also access various nature activities: hiking in the Sierra de la Demanda; skiing at the Valdezcaray resort (50 minutes away); culture at the Monastery of San Millán de la Cogolla or the Atapuerca archaeological sites; and wine tourism in the wineries of nearby Rioja.
