The Hórreo hostel is one more service that Casa Loncho offers travellers walking the Camino de Santiago to Fisterra.

Located in the same setting as our rustic guesthouse, in the village of Olveiroa, municipality of Dumbría, we have brand-new facilities offering visitors a full range of services with a friendly atmosphere and family treatment.

Services

We have 48 beds spread over five cosy, comfortable rooms, with heating, suitable for people with disabilities, and ideal for enjoying a well-deserved rest after a long day on the Camino.

Our Bar-Shop has a terrace and internet service. It is the perfect complement for preparing the following days and a splendid place to stock up and share experiences with other visitors.

5 heated rooms, 48 beds, individual lockers, adapted access for people with disabilities, café-bar, shop, terrace, internet, Wi-Fi, pilgrim pick-up, backpack service, taxi service, laundry service, TV room, kitchen. We accept credit card payments.

Nearby

Olveiroa belongs, along with six other villages, to the municipality of Dumbría. In its surroundings we can highlight:

Church of Santiago, 300 metres from our guesthouse, surrounded by hórreos (granaries); this late-12th-century building, though much reformed, has interesting altarpieces inside as well as an original bust of the Apostle.

Santa Lucía, a chapel built between the 13th and 14th centuries. It hosts a pilgrimage of great popular devotion on Easter Monday.

Ponte Olveira, a hamlet and bridge over the river Xallas, from which you can reach its wonderful banks of great scenic value. In 1809 a famous battle against Napoleonic troops took place here, part of the resistance to the French invasion of the Iberian Peninsula.
