Hotel Aroi Bierzo Plaza, renovated in summer 2009, is located in the heart of the old town of Ponferrada in Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Occupying three noble mansions, the first of them originating in the seventeenth century, it has been carefully restored and fitted out to provide a warm and charming space within the old city.

The Hotel is perfectly located for both business travel and leisure, within walking distance of the main attractions of the city, such as the Castle of the Templars (XIIth century), the Radio Museum, Museo del Bierzo , Basilica de la Encina, etc.

Ponferrada is, additionally, the last city in Camino de Santiago before entering Galicia.

It has 34 rooms designed to combine the charm of old buildings restored with all the amenities to feel at home. Both the bedrooms and the bathrooms have been decorated using the finest materials that offer warmth and comfort to our customers.
