AmenitiesIn the small town of Hospital de Órbigo, located on the section of the Camino de Santiago between León and Astorga, we have carried out the reconstruction and adaptation into a hostel of a beautiful, thick-walled farmhouse.
A stage marked out by the Codex Calixtinus for true pilgrims.
Do not miss seeing the longest bridge on the Camino de Santiago, with 19 arches, and remember the battle of Don Suero, who broke 300 lances for the love of a woman — all of it living history of the Camino de Santiago.
At the hostel there is a painting workshop and a permanent exhibition of paintings made by the very pilgrims who are doing the Camino.

NearbyHospital de Órbigo is known mainly for its famous medieval bridge (Bridge of the Honourable Pass).
It is a 13th-century medieval bridge, built over the river Órbigo. It seems too big for the river, but before the construction of the Barrios de Luna reservoir, this river carried a great flow. It has 19 arches and is quite well preserved. Restorations were carried out at different times. It has been a national monument since 1939.
It is set on the old Roman road that ran from León (Legio Septima Gemina) to Astorga, which in Roman times was the capital of the province of Asturica Augusta.
The best logistics of the Camino de Santiago. We have a hotel next to the cathedral of Santiago as a point of assistance and collection of our rental bicycles.
