Cirueña is a municipality in the autonomous community of La Rioja located to the west, 6 km from its district capital, Santo Domingo de la Calzada; both municipalities are connected by the LR-204 road. To the south are the monastic complexes of San Millán de la Cogolla and the abbey of Cañas. It connects with the N-120 national road between Logroño and Burgos via the regional LR-236 road.
Pre-Romanesque parish church of San Andrés, next to the former monastery of the same name. This church was rebuilt and dates from the 10th century; remains of alabaster seats in the apse.
