This young, family-run hotel opened its doors in 2001 with 14 rooms, and later, in 2005, 16 more attic-style rooms were added. The rooms are fully functional and tastefully decorated in a traditional style with a touch of modernism, making them a cosy, warm and comfortable resting area. All are equipped with a private bathroom, television, wardrobe and desk. We have twin and double rooms, as well as triples and quadruples.

With a total of 30 rooms, it can accommodate more than 64 people. This hotel allows guests’ dogs (subject to checking the conditions and noting it on the booking).

One of the town’s hallmarks is the parish church (1888-1915) and, nearby, the monument to the astronomer and mathematician Ramón María Aller, the work of the sculptor Asorey. Also by Asorey is the monument to the aviator Joaquín Loriga, in Loriga Park. Nearby highlights include the Merza Waterfalls (“A Fervenza da Toxa”), with a drop of about 50 metres, and the Monastery of Carboeiro, with two Romanesque bridges over the river Deza.
