A family-run hostel in an idyllic setting surrounded by woods and mountains, next to the impressive monastery of Zenarruza.

Here, besides fitting in a spectacular stage coming from Zumaia, you can also rest completely.

The hostel has a friendly, family atmosphere and a good restaurant where, at moderate prices (pilgrim’s menu), you can eat wonderfully.

As well as the dormitory, it offers single or double rooms with bathroom.

Zenarruza has been a Cistercian monastery since 1988. The Cistercian Order is a monastic order born in the 11th century and now spread across all five continents. This community, which came from the monastery of La Oliva in Navarre, not only cares for the site but is making it possible for Zenarruza to once again become a centre of spirituality — which is how and why it first came about. It is also the only community of contemplative monks in the diocese.
