Flat and accessible stage to warm up legs,<br \/>\nideal as a first contact with the Camino. <\/p>\n<\/article>\n<p><!-- ==================== ETAPA 2 ==================== --><\/p>\n<article id=\"etapa-pt-2\">\n<h3>Stage 2 &#8211; Vila Franca de Xira \u2192 Goleg\u00e3<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Distance:<\/strong> 85.64 km<\/li>\n<li><strong>Positive elevation gain:<\/strong> 270 m<\/li>\n<li><strong>Negative vertical drop:<\/strong> 262 m<\/li>\n<li><strong>Difficulty:<\/strong> Moderate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Long but completely flat stage through the plains of Ribatejo, advancing along the Tagus.<br \/>\nIdeal for fast riding and enjoying the agricultural landscape.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n<p><!-- ==================== ETAPA 3 ==================== --><\/p>\n<article id=\"etapa-pt-3\">\n<h3>Stage 3 &#8211; Goleg\u00e3 \u2192 Ansi\u00e3o<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Distance:<\/strong> 76.36 km<\/li>\n<li><strong>Positive elevation gain:<\/strong> 1,101 m<\/li>\n<li><strong>Negative vertical drop:<\/strong> 904 m<\/li>\n<li><strong>Difficulty: Difficult<\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It enters a terrain of constant hills and rural tracks. Physically demanding stage typical of the interior of Portugal. <\/p>\n<\/article>\n<p><!-- ==================== ETAPA 4 ==================== --><\/p>\n<article id=\"etapa-pt-4\">\n<h3>Stage 4 &#8211; Ansi\u00e3o \u2192 Coimbra<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Distance:<\/strong> 46.66 km<\/li>\n<li><strong>Positive elevation gain:<\/strong> 619 m<\/li>\n<li><strong>Negative vertical drop:<\/strong> 815 m<\/li>\n<li><strong>Difficulty:<\/strong> Moderate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Shorter stage but with constant ups and downs. The arrival in Coimbra allows you to enjoy one of the most beautiful historical cities in Portugal. <\/p>\n<\/article>\n<p><!-- ==================== ETAPA 5 ==================== --><\/p>\n<article id=\"etapa-pt-5\">\n<h3>Stage 5 &#8211; Coimbra \u2192 Albergaria-a-Velha<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Distance:<\/strong> 67.39 km<\/li>\n<li><strong>Positive elevation gain:<\/strong> 729 m<\/li>\n<li><strong>Negative vertical drop:<\/strong> 606 m<\/li>\n<li><strong>Difficulty:<\/strong> Moderate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Varied terrain with rural roads, eucalyptus groves and small villages. Very comfortable and cyclotourist stage. <\/p>\n<\/article>\n<p><!-- ==================== ETAPA 6 ==================== --><\/p>\n<article id=\"etapa-pt-6\">\n<h3>Stage 6 &#8211; Albergaria-a-Velha \u2192 Oporto<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Distance:<\/strong> 66.13 km<\/li>\n<li><strong>Positive elevation gain:<\/strong> 1,075 m<\/li>\n<li><strong>Negative difference in altitude:<\/strong> 1,156 m<\/li>\n<li><strong>Difficulty:<\/strong> Moderate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A demanding stage due to the accumulation of hills. The arrival at the Douro and the historic center of Porto is one of the most memorable moments of the Camino. <\/p>\n<\/article>\n<p><!-- ==================== ETAPA 7 ==================== --><\/p>\n<article id=\"etapa-pt-7\">\n<h3>Stage 7 &#8211; Porto \u2192 Esposende (Costa)<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Distance:<\/strong> 64.32 km<\/li>\n<li><strong>Positive elevation gain:<\/strong> 238 m<\/li>\n<li><strong>Negative vertical drop:<\/strong> 316 m<\/li>\n<li><strong>Difficulty:<\/strong> Easy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>One of the most beautiful stages. Walkways along the Atlantic, bike paths and fishing villages. Very comfortable for cyclotourism.  <\/p>\n<\/article>\n<p><!-- ==================== ETAPA 8 ==================== --><\/p>\n<article id=\"etapa-pt-8\">\n<h3>Stage 8 &#8211; Esposende \u2192 Caminha (Costa)<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Distance:<\/strong> 53.21 km<\/li>\n<li><strong>Positive elevation gain:<\/strong> 632 m<\/li>\n<li><strong>Negative vertical drop:<\/strong> 636 m<\/li>\n<li><strong>Difficulty:<\/strong> Easy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Coastal path, beaches, soft cliffs and the beautiful city of Viana do Castelo. End in Caminha, in front of the Minho. <\/p>\n<\/article>\n<p><!-- ==================== ETAPA 9 ==================== --><\/p>\n<article id=\"etapa-pt-9\">\n<h3>Stage 9 &#8211; Caminha \u2192 Vigo (Coast)<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Distance:<\/strong> 61.34 km<\/li>\n<li><strong>Positive elevation gain:<\/strong> 726 m<\/li>\n<li><strong>Negative vertical drop:<\/strong> 693 m<\/li>\n<li><strong>Difficulty: Difficult<\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Crossing of the Mi\u00f1o River towards Galicia and drive along the spectacular south coast of the community. Views of the C\u00edes Islands and entrance to Vigo. <\/p>\n<\/article>\n<p><!-- ==================== ETAPA 10 ==================== --><\/p>\n<article id=\"etapa-pt-10\">\n<h3>Stage 10 &#8211; Vigo \u2192 Caldas de Reis<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Distance:<\/strong> 62.2 km<\/li>\n<li><strong>Positive elevation gain:<\/strong> 902 m<\/li>\n<li><strong>Negative vertical drop:<\/strong> 916 m<\/li>\n<li><strong>Difficulty:<\/strong> Moderate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Coastal path, urban areas, entrance to Pontevedra and rural stretches to Caldas de Reis.
