Samos is located approximately 11 km from Sarria and 45 km from Lugo. This town is a must for all pilgrims who walk to Santiago de Compostela. found in a spectacular natural environment, in a valley that gives access to the Pedrafita mountains. It crosses the Oribio River, a small river, rich in eels and trout, one of the most emblematic dishes of the area. Our houses are located in Samos, in the heart of the Camino de Santiago. We have 3 full rental accommodations and one suite with jacuzzi.

• Casa Do Forneiro: 160€ TB/ 200€ TA

Full rental house for 8 people. Decorated with care, it is characterized by the spaciousness of its spaces. It has a dining area suitable for 20 people and a fully equipped kitchen. Its 4 rooms are spacious and with bathroom (2 with twin beds and 2 with double bed). It has a living room with TV and garden with barbecue. Heating and wifi.

Our cozy suite features a living area with a fireplace, a 40 "TV and a small kitchen, while the bed with soft cotton sheets and a large 2-seater hot tub is integrated in the same space. heating and wifi.

Rural hotel in the Northern Way

Bi Terra, two lands Basque-Galician, Galician-Basque, our hearts are between both places. Two lands and two ways to enjoy this place: rest in our hotel or taste our seriously good homemade recipes in our restaurant, where you can find Galician and Basque cooking.

Duality, this is the main word. You also find this in the buildings that formed Bi terra.

The hotel building is over 200 years old, it was uninhabited almost 15 years and, little by little, it was falling into ruin until we arrived and rescued it. Turn it around from the foundations to the roof. The result… you have to see for yourself. It is a mix of wood, slate, glass, iron, stainless steel… rustic and modern carefully balanced.

The restaurant, in contrast, is a new construction but integrates well into the rural environment. To appreciate the decoration inside, there is no better way than sitting and tasting our recipes made with local products.

The surrounding area… what could we say about it? Many of the people who have spent their holidays here say they could breathe peace in our land. You can listen to the silence, the whistling of the wind, birds waking to the first rays of the morning sun, the tinkling of cow bells. It is Mother Nature speaking.

Services

The bar and the restaurant are located in a separated building in front of the hotel. We wanted to put them apart in order to not disturb our guests.
The bar is a good place to refresh or, depending on the time of the year, to warm you. Enjoying the quiet or drinking with your travel mates, talking with us or with some of our cheerful neighbours.
When it´s time to eat you can close to our dining room to savour the delicious tastes of our homemade breakfasts, for example. We make then with fresh local milk and our bread which is made freshly in a local wood-fire oven.
Also, we have a mixed menu for lunch and dinner based on Galician and Basque cuisines.

What about our Rooms…
In the hotel, we have one modified bedroom on the ground floor for disable visitors… On the first floor, we have seven ensuited double rooms. One of these is a lovely double room with a hydro massage bath and a balcony. At the attic we offer a penthouse room also with a hydro massage bath, a large shower and a small living room. This is a special room from where you can see the stars without leaving the bed.
All these nine cozy bedrooms have a delicate decoration and are provided with central heating.
There are available communal areas such as a reading space and two living rooms with a typical open-fire place for those cold autumn and winter evenings when you want to sit down and relax contemplating the dancing flames.
If you can´t leave your computer at home for a few days, we have available free Wi-Fi. Also we can offer a variety of board games to spend your free time with your friends.

Casa Goas pension-restaurant is a family business where you can eat, sleep and have a good time chatting in a friendly environment, currently run as a third generation. Our journey began in 1944.

The hotel has been renovated recently, with modern and functional facilities. After the long climb from the port of Mondoñedo here's a very logical end of stage to combine our arrival in Santiago stopping before at the monastery of Sobrado dos Monxes.

Itineris Domus opens its doors in June 2010. Its privileged location, just 50 meters from the Monastery of San Julian, lets you enjoy a wonderful view of the ancient Abbey and the Chapel of Ciprés, as it lies midway between the two most important monuments of this town.

Comforts

Due to the need of quality accommodation and where cleanliness, hygiene and comfort take precedence, we have opened the hostel considering the needs of the pilgrim, as we have been pilgrims ourselves.

After three winters of work, we now have two private rooms - one with capacity for 2 people and the other for up to 4 people - each with its private bathroom, and a shared room for 6 people in 3 bunk beds, with private bathroom. The latter, has been carefully restored with exposed stone, and offers views of the surrounding landscape. It is also equipped with elements specially designed for the welfare of the pilgrim. It should be noted that according to the European accessibility rules, both the room and the bathroom are fully adapted for the disabled.

For the rest of the pilgrims, we have 3 different areas: the bar-cafeteria, an outdoor terrace to enjoy nature and a sunroom exclusively for those who are staying.

At night we offer community dinners where everyone can share their experiences with others along this wonderful route.

Surroundings

Paradela is a municipality in the county of Sarria, which is part of Ribeira Sacra and is 36 km. away from Lugo. In the northwest the Minho river forms the natural border of the municipality, which also highlights the Loio River in the north. In the Minho river you can make catamaran rides around the reservoir of Belesar. Camino de Santiago passes by the northern part, in the direction from Sarria to Portomarín.

Capacity for 32 people in bunk beds and 2 rooms in this wonderful settlement on the Camino de Santiago. In the middle of the nature of Camino de Santiago and a short distance after Sarria. In the hostel there is a good restaurant where you can enjoy a good Galician soup or pasty.

In the garden we can relax, do laundry, repair bicycles, read a book .. what comes to mind if the mood and climate are favorable.

Surroundings

Free camping area (showers are charged only if used). Near the hostel there is a chapel of the eighteenth century where you can hold mass. We are in a rural area, surrounded by woods, horses and greenery everywhere. Galicia Itself, 100% genuine.
